Established in 1885, the Bougrier family has managed the winery for five generations. Famile Bougrier represents around 800 hectares of vineyards. This winery is based in the village of Saint-Georges-sur-Cher, in the heart of the Loire Valley, the most renowned region of Chenin Blanc.
This estate Sauvignon is grown on sandy soils in Touraine, and especially in Saint Georges sur Cher, where the vineyards also benefit from the mildness of the river Cher and from the sunny climate of the Loire Valley. A bright gold in colour with green tints. The nose is aromatic with characteristic citrus, blackcurrant leaf and floral scents. In the mouth there is ripe gooseberry and herbal notes, a fresh citrus acidity leads into a clean and crisp finish. 12% 750ml
